The tapering pillasters are decorated with blind fret carving below fluting and terminate in large egg and dart mouldings; the frieze is also decorated with a complex blind fret detail. A Large Victorian Irish grey marble fire surround in the gothic manner, with an arched aperture, the spandrels are decorated with deeply incised quatrefoils inset with shields, the heavy keystone is decorated with ribbon carving.
