Antique Edwardian cast iron fireplace, with finely cast urns to the capitals and frieze and an acanthus scroll to the legs. This fire surround has its original wooden shelf, which once restored will have the same finish applied to it as the rest of the fireplace. We currently have a pair of these fireplace in stock. A very fine and rare English antique cast iron chimneypiece designed by Alfred Stevens for the Coalbrookdale Company. The frieze and legs decorated with classical recumbent figure amongst festoons and birds. Removed from a large property in Ilfracombe, Devon. Dog grate has sold.
