Very large antique Art Nouveau cast iron and tiled combination grate. The frieze cast with stylised flowers synonymous of the period and birds perched in the corners, also benefiting from an sliding canopy. Complete with a set of rare antique tube lined T&R Boote tiles depicting windmill scenes, or an equally rare set of tube lined antique Art Nouveau tile runs (now sold). Alternative tiles can be chosen. The final image shows the illustration taken from the Pryke & Palmer catalogue circa 1905. Although this fireplace is now sold the windmill scene tiles are still available and can be chosen for another one of our fireplaces.

A pair of antique mid Victorian cast iron door porters or door stops representing the popular English puppets Punch and Judy. Still with their original paint finish. Modeled after the cover picture for 'Punch' a humorous magazine started in 1844. As there is a pair they could also be used as novelty book ends.
